Training Manual: Community Mobilisation and Empowerment for Improved Access to Care, Support and Treatment
JSI Europe is supporting the Zimbabwe AIDS Network to train NGOs and service providers in Zimbabwe to mobilise communities to increase access to care, support and treatment. Drawing upon a range of existing material (particularly the "Handbook on Access to HIV/AIDS-related Treatment," UNAIDS, WHO, International HIV/AIDS Alliance), as well as incorporating new material, the CMEIACST Training Manual aims to build organisations' skills in supporting communities to comprehensively address care, support and treatment. For example, in addition to addressing clinical treatment, the Training Manual provides information on equity, nutrition, food security, involving young people and men, and leadership."
