Toolkit: Involving Men in Community Home-Based Care for HIV and AIDS
The aim of the Toolkit is to encourage and guide men to take part in the care and support of people living with HIV and AIDS. The Toolkit includes an Information Manual, 'How To' cards, and a resource pack containing leaflets, brochures, pamphlets, and posters.
The Toolkit addresses issues such as:
Why men should be involved in CHBC
Challenges male caregivers might face
Dealing with stigma and discrimination in the community
Practical support for families in preparing for the future
Social networks for men
HIV prevention and rights and responsibilities
Men's health seeking behaviour
